Thai Express

I really like this place! Usually when a restaurant has 'express' in their name, it's anything BUT authentic. Not the case here! My sis got the drunken noodles (which she loved) and I jumped into the yellow curry. Btw they have a daily special that changes and is under 7 bucks. The portions are very hearty. You definitely get more food if you dine in. I almost couldn't finish my plate. The yellow curry was on point! You can add a spicy level to your plate too. I did the regular spicy and it was quite a bit more heat than i expected. I enjoyed it overall. The flavors blended marvelously. They also have chopsticks which I love! If you're ever on this side of town do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't regret it!

Good food and lots of it. Ordered the Wednesday special of orange chicken...not too sweet as most of these type dishes usually are. The Tom Yum soup regular sized was a meal itself and was a good supper later. Menu has a variety of choices to individualize your order, along with spicey or not to order. Vegan and Gluten free your choice.

Stopped in on a Sunday for a bite. I chose th Tom Yum Sou with Shrimp. I ate the 6 pieces of shrimp before I took the pic. I was expecting this to be more flavorful and tossed the rest of it away. I'm not really faulting the restaurant as this was a new choice for me and maybe it was just supposed to be lacking in flavor. Next time I will stick with a curry. I was disappointed that the tables etc were not wiped down. There were no customers at the counter for a good 15 minutes and 4 people on duty. Someone did leave a spray bottle and cloth out so I cleaned my own table.

I was excited for the Tom Yum soup that I got on 1/26/2020 to have for lunch the next day. I warmed up my soup and added the coconut milk and was in awe at the amazing flavor, and then I found hair in my soup. I was utterly disgusted and upset. I will NEVER go back to this establishment and I will contact a health inspector to have them look at that 90 score.

I tried this place out the afternoon of September 12th 2019. This place wasn't very impressive to me and my 12 year old son. We ordered Spicy Basil shrimp fried rice with extra onions today and we got what we ordered but it had absolutely no flavor at all and barely any shrimp for so much rice. It wasn't spicy either. There were small chunks of rice that hadn't been mixed in with the sauce (see photos zoom in to see white chunks). Though, I did like the texture of the rice and shrimp but they only give you a few shrimp and a box full of rice. In addition to the taste just being seriously bland; the cost was a bit much for a box of bland rice with a few shrimp. Repetitive but true. The guy making the food was little smart alec to me "didn't we just have this conversation" I'm like No, we talked about thai fried rice substituting pineapple for onions, Not Spicy Basil fried rice with extra onions for free...see the difference? But instead of just giving me an answer His response was "didn't we just talk about this" ... as if I was a dummy, not very nice. I tried to snap a picture of my food as it was being prepared and he said I get anxiety from cameras being in my face when I cook food...lol I said okay sorry about that. Though this was odd because I was angling the camera directly at the pot full of rice. He apologized for it after he was done cooking the box of rice and repeated himself about suddenly catching anxiety when a person snaps a picture of their food. I just said okay I understand its alright, but that was my honest experience. #ThatReviewGirl
