Coyotes

It was decent. Small spot tucked away. Only one TV that wasn't on. The chips were warm and the salsa was probably the best I've had with lots of cilantro! I had the California burrito that was very filling. I had a peach and Pina colada drink it wasn't swirled but I don't think the guy had bartender license either lol. It was sweet but light strong probably wouldn't get that again. It appeared only to be a few people working. It wasn't the cleanest because they were stretch for workers. Basically when he half cleaned the tables he let the food drop on the floor and towel he cleaned with was gross. I would like to try again but I'm not so sure with covid and short staffed.

Been eating here for years and it's really gone downhill. Still really amazing food, but the service is just abysmal. There's nothing more frustrating than sitting for 30 minutes without even getting water or chips, while others who sat down after you already have ordered and are sipping on margaritas. Spent an hour and a half here tonight, for the most part just trying to get service, and it's not the first time this has happened. I was told by staff that they are understaffed, but I have never seen a "now hiring" sign. Even so, they don't serve people in any kind of logical order.

UPDATE: Lunch today was absolutely fantastic. Not only was our server amazing but the Carne Asada my wife ordered and the Texas Fajitas I ordered were fresh, hot and delicious. Definitely recommend Coyotes Mexican Grill!! A nice late lunch. Sat on the patio. Service was good as was the food. I did think the Tacos de Carne Asada should have had more meat (see photo), but they were tasty as was the rice and bowl of beans. My wife enjoyed her Super Fajita Quesadilla with shrimp. The Texas margaritas were good. A nice place to get good Mexican food in Decatur.
