J Christopher's

Used to eat here quite often, but today will be the last. I ordered the chocolate pancake and sadly got through 90% of it only to find small black hairs cooked into the pancake. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing. The restaurant only could offer a replacement pancake due to the order coming through Ubereats, but at this point I don't trust anything else from this J Christopher location.

I went there twice first time food and services was amazing. The second time my food was burned not really able to eat it had to send it back and it took another 35 minutes for some eggs. On top of all that I usually tip my server the way they deserve because if the food it bad it has nothing to do with them. However after I left my card was charge an extra $ 20. Not going back

Fantastic breakfast place! W J.Christopher's in Savannah, GA is our fav place so when we saw that there was a J. Christopher's in Decature, it just made sense to head there for breakfast. Since we were going to an early lunch with our Son and his Wife later that day, we decided to have a light breakfast. We both had parfaits which were fantastic and beautiful! I also had oatmeal with a side of turkey bacin and my Husband had the traditional breakfast since he usually gets the pantry feast. Everything was great except my oatmeal was suppose to come with raisin toast and our server guy brought me a biscuit instead. I chose not to mention it since I was full from the oatmeal, huge parfait and bacon anyway but my Husband's meal also came with a biscuit and he was a bit disappointed that our young server guy never brought/asked if we wanted jelly, honey or butter for our biscuits. Lastly, they really do have great coffee and the ambiance is great at both locations with unique art flooding the walls from front to back. We love J. Christopher's!

1. The initial service We waited 37 minutes to be seated. Not a abnormal wait time. However there was only 1 person in front of us. 4 couples who came after us were seated before they decided to be seated my fiance and I. Then they moved a table right in front of the restroom hallway to place us. We were in a aisle. 2. It was another 15 minutes before they took our drink order. However the other ppl who came after us was receiving A+ service. Our waitress was struggling to serve us and her other customers bc we were thrown upon her unexpectedly. She was ok under the circumstances. 3. The food was good ,hot and very well plated. The food was the saving grace but it takes more than good food to make a restaurant. Will we return.... thats a big maybe. It won't be anytime soon i guarantee you that.
