This place was amazing!!! First time here and we will definitely be back! Everything we ordered was really, really great!!! The shrimp and grits were wonderful and worth the trip! Everything we had was fresh, homemade, and tasted excellent! I can’t say enough about how good the food, service, (our waitress was outstanding) atmosphere, and pricing was! ❤️

We had a delicious meal at Screen Door Kitchen! The beet risotto with goat cheese salmon was melt in your mouth good. I especially loved the fried pickles- they were the best I’ve had in my life!! The breading and thin slice of the pickle was perfect. Can’t wait to go back and try more. This restaurant is a MUST if you are in the Dayton area.

I've been here a couple times before, but had somehow not had brunch yet. Today I had the Crab Cake Benedict. So freaking good! Everything about this was amazing. My friend had the mile high omelette with a side of biscuits and gravy. We both finished our plates 😊 I somehow found room for dessert when i heard about the pumpkin cinnamon roll. Great choice. I can't recommend Screen Door Kitchen enough. Great job y'all! Please keep doing what you do!

I was told about this place from a realtor who lives in the area. Let me tell you, the food was fantastic! We started with appetizers that were unique and delicious. My main course of shrimp and grits was satisfying and the flavor was delicious. My hubby got the rib eye steak and mashed potatoes and broccoli. The potatoes are fresh scratch made and the steak was tender and very flavorful. We got the peanut butter pie for dessert and is was so good. We also got the cheese cake and the chocolate cake to take home. Both of those were so good. I would go back anytime!

if i could leave negative stars i would. our waitress was NOT welcoming and my boyfriend was served very under cooked salmon when he ordered it well done. the manager proceeded to be rude and have a huge attitude with us , and didn't even offer to take the salmon off the ticket. we had to pay for $18 UNDERCOOKED SALMON. my burger was also undercooked. i do NOT recommend coming here.
