Food was delicious. My rating on this place is solely on the food. It was absolutely delicious. My favorite part about the food was the breading was very thin so we had nice sized portions of meat in every bite. It tasted fresh and was very nice serving sizes. My only complaints are the decor being old fashioned and lack thereof and also the staff seemly not caring about anything you have to say or your existence. Our waiter did nothing to show disrespect, but he seemed like he didn't really care. Not that this changed my opinion because the food was so good. Thanks tasty kitchen. We will be returning.

We love this place, I have the most picky children when it comes to food and they/we love everything about the food here. The food is always extremely hot (not spicy) and fresh. It is authentic and delicious. We got to dine-in and we where extremely happy to be able to do so. The service is always great also. Truly this place is top of our favorite places to eat in Davis. If you haven't given this place a chance I suggest you do, you will not be dissapointed..!!! Thank you for the amazing food and service...

We received a flyer in the mail for Tasty Kitchen so we decided to try their takeout. We had low expectations and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was yummy (black bean chicken, sweet/sour pork, green onion pancakes, and a free milk tea) and the staff was efficient and COVID safe. The portions are also pretty big (plenty of leftovers). The chicken included in our black bean chicken did make us a little unsure - it had flaky texture similar to fish and wasn't very chicken-like. Our palettes aren't developed enough to say whether it actually was fish - so either: we got fish instead of chicken, the chicken is a little fishy, or we don't know what chicken tastes like. Either way, we devoured it anyway.

It's authentic. Food, decor, service (which needs to be improved slow and negligent). But overall worth the cons. Portions are massive order with care. Our chicken noodle dish could have fed 3 or even 4. Good to go in bigger groups and order family style and share. Slightly on the pricey side, but they gave us a 5pct discount voluntarily, just appeared on the bill.
