There isn't any point in doing a review as sadly this store will be closing. It will be a great miss for the people of Darlington. There is going to be an M&S food outlet on the outskirts of Darlington which unfortunately may be out of the reach for people who don't drive. One lady wrote to Hear all Sides in The Northern Echo & for her it would mean a bus from where she lives into the town centre then a bus from the town centre to West Park on the outskirts making it just too much. The 5 star review ISN'T for M&S the company - it's for their dedicated staff who found out after the general public were told when it was closing. Shame on M&S! So, this is to thank the staff with the hope they are able to find new jobs & not have to travel far to get to them. Farewell & good luck.

Small store but packs a lot in and has a decent foodhall. Over the last years it has always looked well kept with good visual displays. Staff are lovely and very helpful. It is a store that provides a lifeline to many people who live or work near Darlington town centre. It will be sadly missed if it shuts with nothing close to matching it in the town centre to replace it.

Great shop. I shop there every saturday morning for a full weeks food shop. I live on my own and the ready meals are the answer. I have some 75,000 points on my sparks card. There are only two slight issues... some of the dates on the ready meals... ?? and one of the assistants. If she is not on on a saturday... it just is not the same experience... all the staff are helpful and make you feel special but a girl called 'Carrie' goes out of her way to make sure I always buy more than I came for!!! She is absolutely brilliant in helping me... Best shop for food.

Friendly, clean always welcoming. I had to call in about an Umbrella my Aunt bought me a spoke was damaged. The staff on CustomerServices were polite fiendly and most helpful. I was offered an exchange for my umbrella they were apologetic as they hadn't the same style available. I was quite happy to accept a different coloured one. Needless to say I am one very happy Customer who won't be getting wet in the rain.
