Called in advance for a fudgie the whale cake. Guy was friendly on the phone. Went to pick up the cake and it was extremely sloppy. Skimped on the ice cream, didn’t cover the whole cake in fudge, whipped cream piping was something a kindergartner could do better. Fudge mess all over the tray and box. Nothing like what is advertised. Pure lazy, will not be supporting that establishment again. The one in Brewster, NY is much better.

My son wanted icecream today. I went in there with my son and my service dog. The older gentleman told me I can't be in there with my service dog. Meanwhile my service dog had her vest on with her service leash and me wearing the badge around my neck. I then explain to him she is a service dog he still insisted to have me leave. Connecticut law gives people with certain disabilities the right to take bring their service animals anywhere.

You must be kidding me. Do not waste ypur money...go anywhere else!!! We ordered a fudgy the whale for Fathers Day. Every year we do this. This year moving to New Fairfield we used Carvel in Danbury. Dont waste youre money. Everyone is just a mess. I will post pictures to show you. I thought it was a.joke.I believe Carl is the owner and he is terrible. Not only charged us for the cake but made us pay the 2 dollars more after we showed Carl the cake. He could of cared less. We got the other cake and paid more. We are so disappointed. I highly recommend not using this mess of a business.

A truly gem in Danbury . The owner is been there for many years. He's a very friendly person . Always willing to give few extra nuts or chocolate chips if anyone ask :l

I love Carvel since I was a small child. The gentleman working there was so friendly and helpful. I got a birthday cake and it was amazing. Better than buying at the grocery store.

The gentleman that runs this facility is quite nice. And although I enjoyed the items I purchased, the inside of the store looks like the land that time forgot. Really unattractive and not a place that I would want to sit in while eating my food.

False Advertisement!
They’ve had a sign outside that claims they have mint soft serve but they haven’t had it for a month, just take the sign down. Owner also gives small portions and barley had any ice cream flavors left. (Lots of the ice cream tubs were empty)

The random 2 times I have visited this location has always been filthy filthy filthy; from the floors, counters, windows, freezers to the owner himself. The soft serve machines are covered with dried ice cream and god knows what else and the scooped ice cream cases are disgusting and the ice cream looks old and like it should be disposed of. The owner is rude and acts as if he is doing you a favor selling his stale saucers and bonnets. The portions are smaller than other locations. With all the businesses struggling after this pandemic do yourself a favor and support another local ice cream shop where you can leave feeling good. I will NEVER go here again.
