Authentic Honduran restaurant. Hole in the wall. Food is good, but the lady at the cashier is not very friendly with customers. She has an "I don't care attitude." She doesn't mistreat customers, she just doesn't do more than expected. She has a serious face. Floor at the restaurant is always dirty. Last time I went I had to clean the menus with one of my sons wipes. They were so sticky and dirty, kinda gross! Owner is very friendly and nice. I wish the owner would remodel this place from top to bottom!

If you need fresh and a home cook meal, tired of the same old same old, and food that does fall flat on the scale of taste, just visit this place to make your taste buds happy and stomach. Went here with my family yesterday and the food was authentically delicious! The prices are not at all expensive. You get an amazing deal. The food was extremely delicious and the horchata was the best I have ever had. My husband got the carne asada meal and the meat was well-seasoned and juicy, just like carne asada should be! It is a small place but the atmosphere is comfortable. They brought out our food in less than 10 minutes. How amazing is that? Eating their Honduran food made me feel like I was having one of my mother’s meals. I will definitely go back again and I HIGHLY recommend it!

I've been to Catrachito before and it is as tasty as I remember. The food they serve is basic to all parts of the world (except with spice variations). It will remind you of Grandma's kitchen. The servings are HUGE! My Dad and I almost couldn't finish our plates. We had the Pechuga Frita which is fried chicken on top of potatoes and topped with a coleslaw salad, a sauce that kinda reminds you of thousand island but tastier, and a pickled onion and radish topping (also extra on the tables). If I hadn't washed it down with a REAL SUGAR SODA maybe I could have cleaned my plate. I left all the chicken bones but the salad and some potatoes didn't make the cut! LOL! It's a quiet and cozy little place... Good for a family dinner or even date night.

I visited Roatán with my wife earlier this year, and loved the Honduran dishes. When I saw this restaurant, I thought, "Awesome-a little bit of Roatán in Dallas!" I walked in during the Sunday lunch hour and it was packed. My instincts told me to leave, but the food looked so good that I waited for a table to open up. When that happened, I waited for the server to come by....and waited....and waited. There was only one waitress and she was swamped. She did serve some surrounding customers, but didn't even give me a glance. I finally walked to the front and grabbed a menu (where the server saw me, still without acknowledgement), returned to my table and looked at the selections, and waited still some more. Finally, after about 15 famished minutes, I gave up and went to Pollo Regio, where I got my food in the blink of an eye. The food at Catrachito looked great, and maybe I should give it another shot during quieter hours, but probably not with such lousy service.

Ignored from the moment I walked in the door, Sat on couch for 45 mins politely waiting. When there was a barber available instead if finally asking what I needed help with, like a haircut, barber was more interested in his phone than assisting a paying customer. After wasting almost a hour of my time I decided to leave and go to a place that acknowledged me and was happy to offer a service and wanted my money.
