Gorji Restaurant

A true fine dining experience. Only five tables, reservations only, no televisions and a great relaxing atmosphere. One of the best fine dining restaurants not only in Dallas but all of Texas. Weekly changing menu with great service and a wide variety of excellent wines. Great interaction with the chef/owner too.

I’ve been returning to this restaurant for 15 years, even after moving out of state. Chef Gorji is a masterful chef and host at this intimate, fine-dining establishment. The prix-fixe menu is always different, yet always glows with his signature touches, much like fine art. His wine list is always creative, diverse, and delightful. A rare treat in this world of culinary franchises.

We have eaten at many excellent restaurants all over the world. Celebrated my birthday there. Have no words to describe this restaurant. In my opinion this was an experience I have never had anywhere. Service amazing. Food wow. Gorgi is something else his only goal is to make your dining experience special. Thank you for making this such a wonderful and very special evening. Do not miss trying this restaurant out you will not be disappointed.

5 stars are 5 stars to little as this is a 10 star restaurant. Chef Gorji's personality, and that of his staff makes this a place that is hard to leave. The food is imaginative and spectacular! Even though it has been a few years since we've been there he remembered us by name. Chef Gorji pairs his wine well with his imaginative style of cooking. Five tables, five clearly marked parking spots make for cozy, romantic ambiance! Reservations are required! Thank you Chef Gorji and James for a wonderful evening!

Our dinner at Gorji Mediterranean Restaurant was wonderful! Chef Gorji is an amazing and talented chef. The food is delicious and the ambience in the restaurant is very nice. We are already looking forward to setting our next reservation! Chef Gorji really has created the best five star dinning experience in Dallas!

This restaurant has been on my list of places to try for some time. On the website, I saw that I could order take out for some days in which the restaurant is not open. I called, and Chef Gorji walked me through my preferences. I had a scrumptious catfish appetizer, a savory pear salad, beef tenderloin and cheese dessert. The food tasted so great even after transporting it home, I decided to make reservations for my anniversary. Fortunately, there is reserved parking because it is difficult to find any parking at all. The atmosphere inside helped facilitate a romantic dinner with soft music and very attentive service from the waiter and Chef Gorji himself. I tried the lasagna appetizer, which was spiced very nicely. The cucumber and tomato salad was so fresh, you'd think the vegetables were picked that day. The pork chop was juicy and flavorful. The food and service were flawless, and I definitely recommend it.

Food: Good; Ambience: Good; Service: Excellent. There are only about 5 tables at this restaurant. No walk ins. It’s very personalized and the chef will play the perfect host. You have an option of a 3 course or 4 course meal(with salad). The appetizers, salad and dessert were great. However, I didn’t think the lamb entree and quail was exceptional. Maybe it was good but after tasting the appetizers I probably expected much more. Must go.

This was our first time here and definitely will not be the last. It is such a wonderful, intimate atmosphere with out of this world food. Often you go to a new restaurant and there is something you don’t care for, but not here. Everything was extraordinary! It makes for an awesome date night/special occasion or just some quiet dinner time place. Can’t recommend it enough!
