Murdoch's Backyard Pub

Super cool restaurant and pub. Tons of room for large parties and kiddos. Burgers, salads, chicken tenders and sandwiches, and specialties and a FANTASTIC beer selection. Food is delicious. Atmosphere is amazing. All towns need a place like this one. Service has always been fantastic. Play ground, slide, and fun things like "Ferry Landing Area" where there are a bunch of flowers and butterflies and a cute ferry hut.

Ok, this place is very cool!! Their craft beer selection features local Brews and out of state Brew (pumpkin beer from Delaware). We ordered food from their Taco Thursday menu, the food was fresh and delicious. The blackened shrimp tacos and quesadillas definitely fill you up. The owners are very friendly and their daughter(the chef) have something really special going on. I highly recommend them. You must try them out.

Staff were really nice. Excellent beer selection. Way too expensive though for the quality of food though. $18 for a burger that was so salty I could only eat half of it and wasn’t able to taste all the flavors I was excited about when I ordered it (ordered the Korean burger). The chicken strips were large and breaded well but the black pepper was overpowering. Potatoes were large and cooked and seasoned well though, ended up being the best tasting part of it IMO. Lovely atmosphere, would come back again for drinks and live music only.

This place is amazing! Fantastic food and drink selection. Plenty of craft beers, ciders, seltzers, and domestic favorites to choose from. The patio is expansive and covered, so you can enjoy the outdoors with ease. There are some outdoor games and lots of expansive space - very kid and dog friendly! The staff is kind and attentive. Highly recommend!

Swung by on Friday to check it out as it looked like a cool place. Extremely friendly staff, great burgers and a great selection of beers. The Magic Mushroom burger was one of the best burgers I've had in a while, fries were excellent and their bread pudding was amazing. The back yard is HUGE with lots of tables, chickens (in a coop) and some super sweet cats. We'll definitely be back soon.
