Village Italian

We take our Junior + Seniors from our church out for the evening every year. This year we wanted to find a local place where can didn’t have to rent a space. I called Village Italian and Nancy the owner was so helpful. She made a set menu with four options. It had a ( very affordable) set price which included the meal, delicious garlic knots, soda, a Cannoli, tip and tax! So easy! We had an amazing night and enjoyed it so much! They even added fresh flowers and our name on the table- such a sweet added touch! Thank you Nancy and staff! We can’t wait to return👏❤️⭐️

Food is absolutely delicious!! But service and kindness is a huge deal to us! That definitely lacks here, at least for us it does. We used to eat brunch here a lot but stopped because of the lack of friendliness especially especially from the woman who greets you when you come in. We always try to give benefit of the doubt but it was every single time. Still giving three stars because the food and location is so great!

loved the service, very nice staff, 5 stars The food was a 3. One dish, over cooked - One dish , just not very good - One dish was very good. Acceptable wine selection, something for everyone. HOWEVER, The OWNER controls the thermostat, and the owner made everyone miserable. The Restaurant was very very hot. This is disrespectful to guest. This is not just about cutting cost, making a meal affordable by making the experience unpleasant is poor management and a disservice to guest. Several people moved tables trying to find a place they could tolerate. Had the service not been so pleasant, the rating would have been a 2 at best. Given the staffing issues all restaurants are experiencing I can excuse the 3 rating on the food, but not the hot and unpleasant dining area. This is TOTALLY CONTROLLABLE and totally unacceptable.

Last time to have anything at this restaurant. Should not even get one star.We ordered the pizza to go, along with the fried zucchini. Our car smelled funky the whole way home! 🥴Pizza (large veggie)was the worst we ever had. The zucchini appetizer was just as bad. Also we were charged $1.44 for using a credit card. Far too costly for such an awful meal. $39 plus a tip for the person that took the order.

Placed an order at 6:15 and was advised by the app that they use for ordering that delivery would be between 6:59 and 7:14. I paid a delivery fee at the time of the order. I received an update showing driver pick up at 7:07. At 7:35 there was still no delivery. I called the store and learned that that order was sitting on the counter and was told that they hired out the delivery through Door dash and they had nothing to do with it. At that same time a an individual texted that they were on their way to to the restaurant and after picking up the order would advise me of the delivery time. I cancelled the order. Driver texted again wanting to know why I canceled and I told them the story. I was told that they were now at the store and they were just putting my order in the oven. Don't know who was telling the stories but the restaurant did not claim any responsibility in this matter.
