Sunrise Diner

My Daughter and I took my elderly Mother to the doctor's office and decided to stop here for lunch afterwards. We were greeted by a gentleman with a big smile and a delightful welcome. He accommodated my Mother (in a wheelchair) by escorting us to a stand-alone table and moving chairs so that her wheelchair would fit and he even helped to move her closer to the table so that it was easier for her to eat. My Mother can only eat soft foods and my Daughter (28 yo) still likes children's food so it's difficult to take them out. The menu at this diner has such a variety that there wasn't a problem at all. Mom had meatloaf, mashed potatoes and soup. Daughter had grilled cheese and kraft macaroni and cheese. It just doesn't get any better. And the food was amazing ! Great service, great food and kind people. What a pleasure.

Since first visiting this restaurant a few months ago it's become our favorite place to eat. The moment we walk through the door we're instantly at home. My wife and I have enjoyed everything we've had. (The beef gravy on the meatloaf is not my favorite, so now I just ask for gravy on the side when ordering.) The chef does a great job, the waitstaff is friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the management seems to really care. I somehow missed this for many years, but now it's on the top of our list.

We driving in the area and my friend and I saw this diner. Because I love diners and even more when they have this classic look. When we came inside and knew this was going to be good. Yes it was, this was exactly what I expected in a diner, good cheap food with soup or salad, some bread. I got the chicken pot pie and was extremely happy with it. My friend got a breakfast omelette and enjoyed every bit of it. This will be one of the places we will visit when in the area

Sunrise is consistently great. Food is always hot and fresh. Servers are friendly and attentive. The restaurant is kept clean and safe for the guests. They did some updates to the restaurant over the last few years, and it looks nice. If you're looking for breakfast, the coconut almond French toast is my favorite. Love it!
