We stopped thinking we could get a coffee & a pastry for breakfast. Not.
We had a wonderful breakfast served by a fabulous young lady.
For coffee though, meh. It was drip & not that good. Stopped further down the road for a proper cappuccino.

This little cafe in the best western is such a gem. Amazing service, the lady who served us and maybe owned cafe was so lovely the food delicious, perfect portion and great prices. Highly recommended! Thanx so much for the wonderful experience.

Amanda made my husband and I’s wedding cake and cupcakes for us a few weeks ago and it was AMAZING. Looked so beautiful, but also tasted great. I feel like the cake is always a decoration at weddings and the odd person has a piece, but our entire cake was gone! Amanda was a pleasure to work with as well; pricing was great and she was excellent about getting back to me and answering all my questions right away. I’d highly recommend using True Root!

Cooked our eggs properly, soft and runny, service great, new girl didnt know much, but took time to find answers and help us! Great job, liked bacon, hash browns chunky, but a little too soft for me! Better than R&B cafe

Unfortunately the service has gone downhill here over the months. While it used to be a favourite, wait times have doubled, staff have grown bitter (except the one young lady, I can’t remember Her name, I believe she may be related to the owner?) and new staff aren’t well equipped to be left alone even when there’s only 2-3 tables it seems. Food has gone drastically downhill and the care seems to be no longer there. Will keep trying and hoping, but our visits are very much so less frequent and hopeful.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had. Perfectly cooked omelette with home-made hash browns. Service was quick and personal with a friendly smile. I strongly recommend!
