Nice place, decent beer, food was alright. Good to see carbs sold separately for the keto dieters.

If you want a nice and relaxed dinner, this is the place. Food is great staff couldn't be better and prices are very reasonable. Will be back.

Lovely food and service, the roast dinner was cooked beautifully

Speaking for myself the Duck roast was not as tender as I would have liked. Everyone else didn't have any complaints, the service was excellent. It was quite a 'cosy' atmosphere, the tables were quite close together and another group of diners were quite loud which did spoil our visit a little but can't really blame the publicans for that. Overall it was a nice visit considering we were just passing late afternoon and took a chance on the place.

We stopped off for a quick break from driving. The staff we met were really friendly and helpful. Beautiful place.

Good beer choice. Great service. Friendly staff. Tasty food. Clean. Nice location. We had Lasagne with a lovely side salad. Tasty Sausage and Chips with a lovely side salad. Only thing for me was the chips, more like small roasted potatoes, chios should be of an almost even size and not so chunky for the best chips.

As we had a smaller wedding with special guests we wanted to keep it local and booked our party in to The Bull.
It was amazing, all the way from first contact to the actual day.
Darren and team were very accommodating with our dietary requirements and were amazing with our guests.
The food was delicious, all guests commented on how lovely it was and what a great time they had had.
Thank you Darren and team for making our evening special.

My boyfriend and I were visiting Hertfordshire from London and The Bull is an absolute gem. The food here was incredible and we were blown away by both the service and the quality of the dishes we had ordered. Unmissable if you’re in the local area!
