What a gem! If you're staying anywhere on Coronado, you MUST check Calypso out. It's a quaint counter-style eatery with lots of Italian/Euro charm. The Lox Bagel is awesome, the pancakes are every kids dream 🥞, and the environment is stunning. Eat out back and watch the marina, or chill inside and enjoy the unique decor. The owner is wonderful. Best part? The cost is totally reasonable. 1000% better than any breakfast you can get at Loews (plus you can get beer/wine here too)

Stopped in for breakfast and was greeted warmly by owner and staff. Great selection of food and drinks. Placed order and got seated out on the warf. Food came out very promptly and delicious and plentiful. Super friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed the place! We trailer camped across the street at silver strand for the week and rode our bikes for a nice brunch. The we had brunch items which were so delicious plus coffee imported from Italy. The view of the harbor was spectacular! We will be visiting again soon!

Very friendly, quick easy casual dining. The wine was a bit expensive but we got a bottle, not a good choice on my part.
Otherwise a nice little eatery right on the water!

I take my small boat to the pier outside and get breakfast often. Lunch sometimes and to go as well. Light Mediterranean atmosphere and better than home-cooked food. Would be a great dinner spot if they were open past 3pm.

It's a small local business and the owner was extremely nice and they went out of their way to take care of our special requests. Food was good and fairly priced for the location. Definitely will stop back when in the area.

Great place!!! Great food and even better service. Just a bike ride from Silver Strand camp ground. The owner always goes above and beyond. She Marinated ribeye steaks for us to take back and grill. Awesome lady!!

Good eggs. Coffee not very good, boiling hot espresso with no taste or crema. Service forgot 50 % of our order.
Best thing is the location.
