Captain D's

I have never been so disappointed then I was today! The Fish was so hard and chewy I almost thought it was something else! The fried okra was all in the Mac& cheese! The shrimp was cooked day before is what it taste like! The only good thing was the hush puppies! Even the chicken was like the chicken strips at the convenience store! On a good note the girl at the window was very friendly! Seems to me that they serve the fresh stuff to the dine in customers and the old stuff to drive thru customers!

I ordered the 2 peice fish and shrimp dinner and asked for malt vinegar and lemon. I made sure my order was right before I left the store because they have a bad habit of giving you what they want you to have and not what you ask for. Well anyway I get home and I couldn’t believe how small the fish was. I thought it was chicken instead of fish at first. 10.00 for a meal it should be fresh and of good quantity and quality. I won’t say I’m never going back because I love captain D’s but I definitely will start complaining to the manager on duty when I need to.

We waited in the drive thru at that the speaker for 10 minutes and no one came over the speaker to take are order, so I tried calling the store to let them know I was at the speaker and they didn't answer thier phone, so I finally went to the window and told them what my order was and that I was wanting and that I even tried calling them and the lady at the window laughed about she thought it was funny I guess.... An I myself am a manager at a fast food restaurant and that is not how you treat your customers...

I was disappointed today we eat here several times a week and its usually really good today the okra tasted like it was over a day old and cold and the fish was not all the way done they said the hush puppy's was just dropped but they wasn't they was barely warm but the shrimp was ok also the tarter sauce was popping open itself not sure how old it was but if I did eat it I wouldn't have today ! The lady at the window was nice they really disappointed me today i can't let my grandkids eat fish thats not done all the way :( not sure whats going on with the cook but something isn't right ☹
