Had a really nice experience here. I am familiar with the locations in New York so I figured I’d give this Coral Gables location a try while I was here. The coffee was great— served in a good quality ceramic mug since I was having it to stay which I loved. Good atmosphere to sit down and do some work. Friendly staff and convenient location.

Wanted to love this place. They used sour beans for the macchiato we ordered. I feel like sour beans are not a safe choice for a coffee shop as it’s not something everyone likes. It would be more astute to use more neutral beans. We got two avocado toasts , the bread was good but the avocado was plain and had absolutely no taste. We didn’t eat the food. Took one bite and had to leave it. I unfortunately, will not be recommending this place, as it was expensive for the quality

First time here! Loved the vibe and atmosphere. Perfect little coffee spot. We got an iced Tahitian vanilla latte and a mocha iced latte and both were amazing! I usually am a quick grab coffee kind of person, but actually taking in the morning and enjoying my coffee …worth pausing my day. Highly recommend (and then you can always go over to bulla for lunch after).

Pretty great little place. We really only came for the gimmick of the fun name GRUMPY!
Coffee ended up being good and service was great from a lovely woman barista!

Roasted in NY, served in Miami. Great espresso, homemade chai, homemade syrups for flavored lattes, teas, limited food options. Prepackaged cold brew and water for sale.

I want to say that this is the best place in coral gables for all of us coffee lovers. Im so touched today by the honesty of one of the workers today. I made a mistake on my tipping today and instead of keying 1.25 i keyed in 125. Cortes who is an employee there called me to notify me of my mistake and tell me that she will issue a refund. Im so touched by this act of honesty from this employee that gets me emotional and i had to share with everyone. You are an amazing human being Cortes , God bless.

Passion Peach Iced Tea and Fried Egg Sandwich were great! Worked for a few hours and loved the vibe of the place. Only downside - not too many places to plug in so come with a full battery.

AMAZING coffee! Very well prepared and with single origin beans.
It’s hard to find a good coffee place in Florida that extracts the best flavor in coffee. I understand some people wouldn’t care less but I do (hence all the espresso images in my reviews).
If you’ve ever been to California and had coffee at a third wave place, this experience would be the most similar to it.
Give it a try!!!
