The Eagle Bbq

Visited Eagle BBQ last night with my family and it was delicious! We ordered the 3 meat platter(pulled pork, chicken & sausage) and it was such a good sized serving we had lots of leftovers. Barely needed any bbq sauce, the chicken and pulled pork were both moist and chuck full of flavor. The brownie and sweet potato pie were okay - nothing special but definitely recommend the food!

Expensive for what it is, and trying to pass off chuck roast as brisket. Foh. ------------------- Editing since Google reviews won't let me reply to the owner's reply below: the only way whatever it was on my wife's mac-and-"brisket" bowl today was brisket was if you took that off the smoker and then left it in a chafing tray for 4-6 hours such that it grossly overcooked in its own juices. Brisket should support its own weight but be pull-apart-able, with a distinct smoke ring and clear flavors of the smoke and bark. This was gelatinous, and had the muddled meaty flavor of pot roast or other slow simmered dishes. As a man that smokes his own meats, I would have been embarrassed to serve that for free to house guests, let alone in a commercial business for ~$20. Maybe if you spent more time monitoring and improving your serving processes and less time leaving salty responses to Google reviews your business would plate a better product.

We ordered brisket and a burger and a chicken sandwich. I found it all to be rather bad. French fries were a funny flavor, cheese burger look and tasted like a fast food burger. They only sent to small things of sauce. Mac and cheese tasted like dried out Velveeta mac and cheese. Will not order again.

This is a little hidden gem at Copper Mountain. Seriously one of the most delicious bbq spots I've had in Colorado. I came here one night after snowboarding with a few friends and hitting the terrain parks so we were running on empty as far as calories go. We decided to stop by and live a little. Boy, oh boy, did we live. I ordered the 2 meat platter consisting of brisket, ribs, and mac & cheese. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly to the point that it didn't even need BBQ sauce in my opinion. One of my friends got a brisket sandwich and the other a pulled pork sandwich - they both were raving about their selections. Anyways, if you're in the area and in the mood for BBQ - look no further - this is your spot.
