Salata

I’ve been struggling with whether or not to post this review, because I’ve always had such a great experience at this location. I purchased a salad last week and when I reached the bottom of my salad, I noticed what looked to be a bug’s leg moving. Once I moved some lettuce to the side, I realized it was in fact a bug and it was still alive and well - almost an hour after I purchased the salad. I contacted the restaurant and Sarah, the manager, was apologetic and voided my transaction. She explained that this hasn’t happened and continued to apologize. I’m sharing because I’d hate for this to happen to anyone else. I don’t know when I’ll be able to eat a salad from anywhere, anytime soon. This looked like a stink bug and not a regular salad bug, so I’m not sure how it ended up in the salad. I had Salata mix & spinach.

Why do we continue to TRY...had the worst experience here. Ordered a wrap, the obviously NEW employee prepared a salad ( my fault?), at the end the line closer dumped out my salad with an obvious attitude. Destroying my carefully crafted, personalized meal. Ughh.... Sometimes it's not worth bothering.... I need to keep my $$$ in my own community.

I usually love Salata but it really depends on who is making your salad. I think they don't train the new workers enough. Every time I get a new worker making my salad, I'm served very little of everything (and I come here a lot so I know how the portion sizes should be). If I pay $4.50 for the seafood salad, then I would expect to get a decent portion. Same with the dressing. It's just annoying how you never know how your salad is going to turn out.

I normally never have a problem but this time the wrap wasn't going to be cut and I had to tell him to cut it. The slice was at such a harsh angle and it wasn't cut all the way through. I tried to rip it apart but when I wrapped my hands around all I touched was salad. It wasn't even really wrapped all the way either and has fallen apart. The tortilla wasn't even warm either. Now I'm stuck at work with an uncompleted salad wrap. Update: they gave me a hard time about the salad over the phone. But they remade it for me finally and it looks perfect! The manager made the most perfect wrap I have ever seen.

I usually loooove Salata. I come here every weekend but lately it has been really bad. I think because there has been a lot of new people working there. I hate to complain about this but they really need to train their staff better. I’ve noticed that the new people are completely lost and sometimes put wrong ingredients or even a completely different salad size from what I asked for. They need to either have their work checked or shadow another worker for longer. I’m tired of paying a lot for salads and leaving disappointed. I look forward to my salad every week but lately it has just been so bad that I just don’t know if I can keep spending money here. They really need to fix this ASAP.

I went in 4 days ago and the service lady wiped her nose with her hand (with the glove on) then grabbed the peas with her hand (not the spoon) and threw it in my salad. Today, i asked for bacon - she wiped her nose grabbed a handful with her hand and threw it in the salad. They told me they would re-make my salad so i got back in line. The guy picked up a fist full of carrots and put it in my salad. Why they don't use the spoons/tongs I have no idea. This place is disgusting. Check out the 1-star reviews, someone else found a bug in their tasty salad.

Today was my first time there. The staff was so kind and helpful. I was just in the mood for a salad. I'm not a salad eater but I said what the heck. If I eat a salad, it's usually something plain and simple. Today I went crazy with toppings and I even got dressing. The first bite, OMG my mouth was in tastebud heaven! I will definitely be coming back and adding this place to my food list.
