Red Lobster

First time trying red lobster. Food was very good and cooked the way I asked it to be. No complaints in that department, same with the drinks they were fine. Service could’ve been a bit better. They took awhile to assist us once seated, our food took awhile to come out and they did not give us utensils until I asked for some. Kind of bizarre to serve us food without utensils but at least it was good and so were the drinks. I’d return but just improve on the service, that was my only real issue.

This Red Lobster is located on a busy corner in front of a Home Depot and Target. The exterior is modern and clean and the interior is nice with dim lighting. The parking lot isn’t huge but the adjacent Home Depot lot provides plenty of overflow parking. On this visit I picked up an order that was placed via the Red Lobster app. There wasn’t much staff at the time because people don’t seem to dine in for lunch these days. The person handling ToGo orders also appeared to be the bartender and waited on nearby tables. In all, I waited about twenty minutes beyond the time my order was scheduled for pickup. I did appreciate that the employee double checked my order while in the kitchen to make sure everything was there. The food was good and the cheddar bay biscuits were delicious (as they always are).

Food was delicious but it took awhile for it come out. However they accommodated us by giving us free appetizers while we waited and were extremely courteous. I’ve been before and will return. My wife enjoyed the endless shrimp. I kept it simple with my entrees but the food is always fresh and it’s never too loud like in the city.

Considering the fact that we are still in a pandemic, this visit was exceptional. Upon entering the restaurant, we had a choice of contactless food menu at the welcome desk. We were greeted and seated immediately. Social distancing was enforced and mask wearing was a criteria with the exception while eating. The attendee was very polite and courteous and made sure we were satisfied. Restrooms 🚻🚺 are available and parking 🅿️ are available and free. Reserved parking is also available for wheelchair accessible vehicles. This location is a preferred location for us and I was delighted to support our neighborhood business again
