Casa Ole

Pretty good place to stop at if you're already in the area. My husband and I like to occasionally come in after shopping at the nearby Sam's or Lowe's. I didn't have high hopes for the $2.50 house margarita, but they really aren't bad! Their other drinks are yummy, too, and so is all the food we've tried so far!

Earlier in the day yesterday, I was informed that three of my husbands family members would be having dinner at the house with us. I ran over to Casa Ole originally to buy green sauce but I asked the hostess about family meals. The lady was so sweet and helped me very quickly- we chose the enchilada tray with sauces, rice and beans. I returned to pick up the food a half hour after what I originally told her, The food was fresh, hot and well packaged. She had told me there was 12 enchiladas in four flavors but I got four of each. She even gave me a chicken nugget kids meal too! The food all tasted great and was very well received by the family.

Fajitas were good but never received guacamole that was ordered extra. Grilled chicken salad was good. Service was poor, food was delivered and had to ask for silver ware as she walked away. Had to leave table to find someone to provide leftover container. Tea was refilled without needing to ask.

Do yourself a huge favor and just order the spinach mushroom enchilada plate. Thank me later. SO very delicious. If you love mushrooms ask for extra mushrooms on top of the enchiladas...you will not regret this. They have the best green sauce with their chips and salsa, dont overdo it because you can totally fill up on them. The ONLY reason I ranked 4 stars and not 5 is because the seat in the booth I sat in was broken and very uncomfortable...but good and wait staff are a 5 all day long.

Sat waiting a long time, not even given water and or chips and dip. Got tired of waiting after 20 minutes and left. Passed hostess and she wasnt concerned we were leaving. Told her no one acknowledged we were even there. Her response was "oh well". And this has happened several times. Use to be one of my favorite restaurants but will take my business elsewhere from now on. Sad
