Fish Tales

I genuinely liked this place. We went because of the reviews, they weren't wrong. The fish is great, the chicken is great, the shrimp are superb. We got the seafood combo and a seafood sampler, as well as an appetizer combo, a kids chicken, and a gumbo (we are feeding four). The gator bites are great, my wife ordered extra cheese sticks because the baby ate 3 of them by herself, we were really impressed with the place and the service. I wasn't a big fan of their oysters, they tasted like fried chicken livers, just extra-extra salty. The fried green tomatoes were a miss for me too. But everything else was amazing. We'll be back for sure.

Pleasently WOWed! This was my first time here and I expected good food but what I got was great food! I had the large shrimp, fries, hush puppies and we split an order of onion rings as an appetizer. All of it was good but the fried shrimp knocked my socks off! I've eaten at cheap places and expensive places and I've been searching my memory and I don't think I have ever had better fried shrimp any where. They were super fresh, super delicious, lightly battered and THE best part? They were delightfully tender. Usually fried shrimp in restaurants comes out a bit gummy and chewy even in some of the high end restaurants not these they are perfect and tender! Also I overheard the server mention they had been short handed all week and you sure couldn't tell. We got our food promptly, smoking hot and the service was super friendly.

It was my first time here and i came based off the good reviews and rating. The prices were good and reasonable for seafood. The food tasted fresh and you could immediately tell that they change their cooking oil often based off the bright colors of the food. Everything tasted really well. I will be returning. Only thing i dont like is the register asks for a tip on cards right when you pay and you pay first then get your food. I have to get my own condiments and drinks so i dont have a waitress attending me so i see no reason on tipping when i have to pay first before getting my food and serving myself on what i need.

This place is a gem. Food and customer service was great however, our visit yesterday was not!. Totally out of menu items (more than 6) when we tried to order, no mention of substitutions to our meals. And what "No Beer" either! Word to the manager "Please order supplies or take these items off your menu.

Great food, great prices A few minutes before we arrived the server on duty had fallen and take to the hospital. The only person in the restaurant was the cook, Cody. Cody did a great job pocking up the slack, taking orders, cooking, running food, cleaning tables and working the register. We will definitely be back.
