The Pine Inn

Actually quite like pinn inn as local hangout and place to chill for a quick beer. This place always known for good value, I always liked this place, food was decent and affordable. Standard meal cost 13.8 for a very generous portion. Unfortunately the last 2 experience including tonight has left me disappointed and hungry, haven't been here for a good few months, so it was a surprised to find new menu items, order the Wagyu Rosbif steak, mb 3-4. Priced at $29. See picture, had it medium rare with mushroom sauce, anyhow, every single bite was so chewy, I ended up giving up. I reckon half of $29 is still sitting on the table, may be I shouldn't order medium rare. Anyhow, cooking rice and order 3 wings from hot star to complete my dinner now. Let's say, I'll not order it again.

I am a frequent visitor pub is really good 5star always but the J’s kitchen was bad today ordered lamb chops 90%fat and 10% meat,ask the staff the why is that? For special price this is what they give really rude returned the lamb chops didn’t refund had to pay for rump steak, staff like this is more than enough to ruins the reputation of the pub too

5 out of 5 - Value for money is the reason I give this place a 5! Been here three times at various times and days. I tried the chicken snitzel, fish n chips, and hands-down, love their Barrumundi battered fish n chips with salad and Frys. Go during lunchtime - bound to get a seat, evenings in the weekend it's hard to get a seat. Down-side; Parking - Park in the closest side street as Pine Inn parking is small and hard to navigate for big cars. Value for money; paid 34.00 for two large fish n chips with salad and chips plus a side of kumara(sweet potatoe frys with sour cream). Service/friendliness; Great fast and friendly wait staff and service, and despite the numbers eating, in all instances, the kitchen are fast. Tables kept clean and clear of dishes. Free sauces and condiments, although I think they should provide more condiments like soy and chilli sauce - their range is good and basic. Cleanliness; The pine Inn has been renovated and the toilets and children's area are clean, modern and you can watch the rugby/sports on a huge TV screen while the children are playing and are within line of sight. X-factor- their huge servings and value for money, including their clean setting and children friendly area. Well done Pine Inn staff and kitchen! please like my review if you found it helpful. Tku. Great place for a quick cheap eats pub food style, massive serving, selection of grilled meat, fried & grilled fish, and variety of fried food. Kids friendly menu, also big servings & has gated playground for the kids to run around while mum and dad eat and drink. Has some desserts option and bar service and TAB. Parking is available from Burton St.

Large portions feed at very affordable price. Pine inn has a set of menu like steaks, fish and chips, spaghetti, lamb chops etc that comes with chips and salad at only $13.90! Staff are very generous with portion as they fill it to the edge of the plate. I got T- bone with mushroom sauce that came with chips and salad. Steak was tough and chewy but the salad dressing was delicious which complemented well with the salad. There was too much mushroom sauce which I found made the chips soggy- not a fan. Food wise I give it 2 stars. Gave it an extra star for value.
