Pub Frato

This was our first time visiting. When we walked in the door, we were asked if we had reservations. We said no, but the hostess seated us immediately. We were in the back room. The atmosphere was still good. The food was fantastic and the service was fast and friendly. The beer menu is extensive. The burger was perfectly cooked and tasty, and the short ribs tacos were perfect. I didn't eat all of the fries since the burger was big. We will definitely be back.

Pub Frato is a very nice bar like restaurant it appears a little bit more like a bar or lounge when you first come in but it has some very good food I would recommend blackened chicken sandwich; additionally, the brussel sprout appetizer is very good. They also have a wide selection of beers and wines to include many local microbrews.

Long post but I'd read this if you want a good idea on some of the best food in lake county. For starters the waiter we had was extremely candid and because the restaurant is managed extremely well this waiter had tried most all the food on the entire menu and could give a reasonable recommendation on various items. He recommended the brussel sprouts as an appetizer because they were apparently amazing. SPOILER ALERT : THEY WERE PROBABLY THE BEST APPETIZER I'VE HAD IN MY LIFE, And my wife and I are brussels sprout snobs. The sweet balsamic vinaigrette drizzle mixed with the bacon and goat cheese created this unbelievably complex flavor that sometimes they tasted like movie theater popcorn and other times it changed to taste like chocolate somehow!? Long and short make sure you try them if you go. Then I got the pub burger that has brie cheese melting down the side of it. Got the burger medium rare like any rational person should always do. This burger might be closed the top five burgers I've ever had in my life. The aioli that came on the side added an almost citrus aftertaste to the burger along with the complexity of everything put on it just paired perfectly. Then my wife got the tuna poke tacos Which she thoroughly enjoyed. The fries there were adequate and had a slightly better than fair fry fresh cut taste of them. I also got the truffle fries which we're good but if I'm being honest nothing incredibly special. They just tasted very good cause they had parmesan coated on top of them with green onion.

Fun atmosphere and vibe at this place. We have dined here multiple times with friends and as a date night for me and my wife. Reservations are recommended as this place is not very big. They have a nice cocktail and beer menu. Food choices are not many, but all our very good. We have tried many. Give this place a try if in the area. You won’t be disappointed.
