This is a wonderful place to have a quick bite to eat! The food was extremely good!!! The hamburger was actually a hand patted patty! This is something that is very unique in this day and age. My grandmother loved her hamburger. I had the large fried catfish! The onion rings, french fries, and catfish were really good! The hushpuppies were premade I believe but really good! Thanks for a wonderful meal!

Absolutely the best cat fish that I have ever eaten, because I'm not a cat fish person. Everything was delicious and service was great and so friendly .it's worth driving out of your way.

Everyone was so nice! The macaroni was yummy, the 🐟 fish& grilled 🧀 cheese with bacon was tasty. The fries had no salt on them & we really liked how we could pepper or salt our 🍟 fries ourselves:). I would like to visit again:) .

Excellent country style food. Never once had an issue with food quality. The only thing I have tried that I dislike here is the macaroni & cheese. That needs major improvement. The staff is friendly!

Simple atmosphere BUT the menu selection is terrific and the portions plentiful. Servers friendly and efficient. Good value in local comfort food!

This is a great place to get a taste of true souther cookin'. We stopped in for lunch and had a salad with grilled chicken, grilled chicken sandwich, green beans and fries. Service was fast and with southern charm. If you are in the Columbus/Tryon area it is worth the stop.

Very good southern food. This old time restaurant served a very yasty fried flounder. The perch was delicious too. Who knew chicken livers could be this tasty! The onion rings were delicious. Service was good. They serve drinks in styrofoam cups which is weird but we can deal with that. Also, your straw is in the napkin. The prices are fair. A good place to enjoy a meal. It would be great if they served breakfast.
