Subway

The guys working this morning greeted me enthusiastically as I came in. They made small talk as they were making my sandwich. Service was fast. Lobby was clean. Onions and bell peppers were nice and crispy, bread was toasted nicely, sweet onion sauce was the right amount. I had pretty much resigned myself to the fact Subway was mediocre, but I have been thinking about a sweet onion chicken teriyaki sandwich all day. I decided to try this Subway. Glad I did. Everything was perfect and the sandwich hit hard. I will be back to this location. The other locations should take notes.

Typical subway. The employees are always young but makes for great small talk while waiting. Never had a wrong order. Clean store. Only complaint is that it is sauna hot in there. I think it's a combination of the baking and the poorly tinted west-facing windows. I had to take mine to go because of it.

Don't try to eat here at 9 PM (two hours before they close). They were out of half their breads. They were out of meatballs, for meatball subs. They had to make more BBQ sauce. We were informed the closing shift was not allowed to bake more bread. Not prepared for customers that late at night. Not a typical Subway experience.

Staff is almost always rude. This location is by my work, so I visit it the most, but have gone less frequently due to the lack of manners that the staff has. Between an elderly gentleman always screaming at you, or the younger crew horsing around, it's quite awful. My last visit, the crew just ripped the turkey and cheese to pieces, sloppily putting together my sandwich, and throwing the remainder everywhere. Does not make you trust in the establishment and want to eat what you've given.

This place gets worse each visit. I come to this location because of how close it is to my house. After today's visit I will not go back to this location again. Subway is great but this location is slacking. They have kids working there and they don't care about their job let alone your sandwich. Today I was asked my order 3 times. I gave my order 3 times and the guy would have gotten the first or even second time if he was actually listening to what I said. After he put my sloppy sandwich in the oven he sneezed on his gloves and the entire meat section. I gave him the opportunity to change his gloves and wash his hands but he didn't. When he decided to pull my sandwich out I had to stop him. I told him I was sorry but I didn't want him touching my food because he had sneezed on his hands. Another guy stepped in he had made my sons sandwich. My sandwich was burnt but I said nothing. He appoligized and the other guy was upset that I asked him not to touch my food. Subway is a really good place to eat but it all comes down to the location and employees. Unfortunately, this location just doesn't get it. I hope they decide to get better employees if they hope to make it at this location.
