Taco Time

Fast, friendly service. Tots were excellent. Tasted like they were fried in fresh oil. Sugar Crustos were just what I remembered them being as a kid. And that's where it ended. We had a Big Juan Burrito with pork and a small Taco Salad. The Big Juan was nothing to write home about, and certainly wouldn't bring us back. The beef (what there was of it) in the Taco Salad was gray and unappetizing. It had an odd texture and looked more like cat food. The saving grace was the crisp shell. Now let's talk about the property. Suffice it to say, that she's no beauty queen and has definitely seen better days. That would be okay IF it were clean. You can't tell me that Taco Time in little ol' Colfax is so slammed with business that not one of the 5 employees I saw didn't have time to pick up broom or clean out the soda machine. The tray was disgusting. Given that our visit was a walk-in, to-go order, I didn't spend any extra time looking deeply. The surface told us all of the story we needed to know. This will not be a place we will be sharing with others, nor will we be stopping again. Sorry Taco Time.

The food was good but pticey. The restaurant is run down and could use a make over. They were busy when I went in and didn't have a system to get the food to the right person. Someone else grabbed my order because they didn't give out a order number or take a name. I'm always amazed when restaurants can't figure this out.

So I drive from pullman to taco time for breakfast because we don't have one in pullman. I show up with no one in drive thru line at 10:32 an the Guy says no it's after 1030 I'm like really by 2 minutes. He says yeah an starts laughing at me. An I pull off. This just put me over the edge with the customer service here. I'm pretty sure it's the same owner who runs Arby's in pullman but the difference is ive always received 100% A+ customer service at Arby's. Looks like taco time has lost another to the taco trucks!
