Alexander's Beach Pub

We have recently re entry dined at your pub with great disappointment. We ordered a clubhouse sandwich that you a claim as a "monter of a sandwich ". Well that it was a monster. Not only was it lacking good taste, but more importantly freshness and good quality. The meats which was little of , were not fresh and processed products. The bacon was limp no lettuce, no cheddar. Overall it tasted funky. Not fresh. Which left us not eating this sandwich. I already have IBD. So I do not need to add and jeopardize my health even more. Our server did take the item of the bill, but not until we had to be more assertive. This sandwich should of never left the kitchen. Obviously you have no quality control and basic standards. I am sorry to say that we will not be back. I know Restaurants are struggling and we love to dine out to give them our support, but we have to feel confident that the meal will prepared with care, freshness and good taste. Thank you.

Waited an hour for food and then was told the kitchen had closed but they fought to get our order in, like we were supposed to be greatful. The bills came out and we had to ask for some sort of discount. The discount came out and it was only for two of the three meals and only for 10% which equaled a $1.80 per the two people. Had to argue again to get the third person a discount and they argued that the third doesn’t get a discount because the food came out at a decent time. Eventually 20min later all three of us got $1.80 off our meal. THANKS Alexander’s Pub you really handled this well. There are three people that planned on being at your place all summer and now have moved on after seeing their worth in your eyes.

Stopped in for a quick snack, cold beer , glass of wine and shared qn order of sliders. Was pretty good, nice spot i am sure the patio in the summer is great. Need to try that someday. O ya, got a chance to hit the patio for a couple of cold summer drinks and the chicken cordon blu sandwith was quite tasty also. We both enjoyed it!! Very close to a grassed area and the beach , nice to tip your toes in. Classic car meet on the lawn tuesday around 5 also.....

It was definitely not worth the price we paid. Lunch was.... ok, I guess. Fries were not good. Just lots of small pieces and so many of them were black inedible pieces. On both our plates. The beef dip was on a ciabatta bun and it was SO hard and tough to bite. Not much flavour in the au jus at all, although was thankful for it since the bread was so incredibly tough. My initial drink was also an obvious under-pour and was really disappointing for the price as well. Finished that and had a beer instead. I had been wanting to try this place out since we live down the road, but I wish I had saved my money. Service was ok but still would not recommend this place. We won't be back.
