The Clinton Inn

First time visit to the Clinton Inn. A little pricey but so worth it! The food was unique providing the ability to choose your own toppings to go on your waffle made for a delicious meal! We had a 1 year old and a 3 year old and the staff was so very good with them and to us. We will definitely be going back! If you want an exceptional breakfast put this one on your list to visit! Their coffee was really good too!

I love the enchiladas, burgers and fish fry. Their weekend brunch though is THE BEST. Get the massive Bloody Mary! Or get pancakes, waffles (made fresh!), or my personal favorite, Biscuits and Gravy. Homemade food by real people. Not some cafeteria style, Sysco nonsense. A real friendly, hometown place. highly recommend

The food here was good! We just didn’t have the best experience as most on here and it makes me sad for our first visit. We came for brunch and we knew it was busy so we were offered a table outside which was perfectly fine! We ordered our food around 1140 and by 1245 we were wondering where our food was. Our waitress finally came up and said they gave our food to someone else so they will make us a new plate. No problem! Happens to the best of us. She gave us our bill with a discount which was nice of them to do. So we paid for our meal right then and there. We didn’t get our replacement food till 1:30 - which seemed a little long for just 2 breakfast meals, but anyways, when they gave us our food, they walked away and we didn’t have cutlery. So we asked someone who was clearing off a table for cutlery and she said “I’ll tell your waitress” ... but continued to bus the table. So we sat there for a good 3-4 minutes staring at our meal until our waitress came out with silverware. Just wasn’t the best experience as others have stated.

Speaking of the tavern, they have a good selection of beers (limited, but good). In my opinion, there are three good restaurants in this area: Mac's Seafood in Saline, Evans Street Station in Tecumseh and Clinton Inn. Besides good food, these three restaurants all have one thing in common. They all have professional chefs.
