Wendy's

Tonight 6/22/22 at 8:40 pm my daughter, my great granddaughter, and I left Golden Valley Hospital headed toward home. On the way we decided to stop at Wendy’s in Clinton Missouri at 8:45pm, and grab a cheeseburger, fry and a drink, along with some chicken nuggets for my granddaughter. It was totally nauseating when we pulled up to the order window to pick up our order. The order window was filthy, it look like it had not been cleaned for a week or two. The trash set along the french fry holder compartment and was stacked up real high to where you could see it from the window. It really makes you wonder how clean the restaurant was in the cooking area. It also made you question the cleanliness of the employees, and their sanitary habits. My stomach is still turning from the unhealthy condition it was in. With that said, I don’t think we will be stopping there for a long time. The order taker and server was very polite, but didn’t resolve the filth.

Will never step foot back in this place or go through drive thru. I went in to complain to the manager and I'm sure that is not solving the problems here. The cashier or the one actually handing me my food through the drive-thru was absolutely rude. Told me my lid was off of my biscuit and gravy to be careful so I look and it's the bottom thing in the bag took the item off the top and there went the biscuits and gravy on the bottom. I asked her why she did that and she said she thought the top one would hold the lid on. I told her I was driving with my elderly mother and as soon as I said that she said have a great day and shut the door in my face. Unacceptable

The guy taking my order was very patient. When we got to the windows they were dirty. Very dirty. Looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a week or more. There was all kinds of trash up on the counter by where the fries stay in holding. It just looked terribly dirty and the help didn't look much cleaner.
