Such good food!! I moved here in April of 2021 from southern California and this is the only place in town with Mexican food that compares to what I could get back home. Don't get me wrong there are other Mexican restaurants around Clinton that have good food, but this is by far the most authentic. The staff is always really cool as well, and service is fast.

Waitress very lackadaisical. She wasn't friendly at all. She brought out sour cream 25 minutes before our meal ever arrived. The other kids working were better at their job than she was. It was also very cold inside. Food wasn't great, the menu could be more clear in description i.e. shredded beef vs ground beef. I was with the prettiest woman in the place so still positive for me 😁

My husband and I came here to celebrate our 10th anniversary last Saturday. Our server was amazing. We asked for hot sauce, and he asked us what kind we want!! Everyone there is very helpful and friendly. The food was very good, margaritas were wonderful. The atmosphere was clean, bright and cheery. We left stuffed and had a great time. Can't wait to go back!

I have been to this location before and usually enjoy the food and the atmosphere however on today's visit I cannot comment on those things because myself and the rest of my party were served chips and salsa and 35 minutes later we had still not been given menus or asked for our drink choices. At that point we had watched two other tables who had just been seated have their drink orders taken and our complimentary chips and salsa were depleted so we left. It was not quite the dining experience I was hoping to provide for my daughter and her fiance. They were quite busy with a line waiting at the door. Myself and two friends went there two nights ago when they weren't busy and we were told that if we just wanted to eat that was fine but if we planned on drinking we would be asked to leave because they were slow and the owner wanted to let his employees go early that night which was quite odd considering I have been there a couple of dozen times and rarely order any alcohol at all. One of my girlfriends did order a margarita with top-shelf tequila and they proceeded to serve her a margarita with the cheap tequila and tried to pass it off as the stuff she had ordered. In the end the owner apologized for their mistake and offered her a substitute. My next visit will determine whether or not I am eternally done with this restaurant. This place has always been hit or miss but two bad visits in one week is just too much.

Waited 40 minutes for food and diner was 1/2 full. I ordered chicken soup and it was extremely salty making it inedible. Also ordered carnitas tacos. Pork was dry and did not have any flavor. Staff was not very attentive regarding drink refills or explaining why our food was delayed. Received the bill and I was being charged for the inedible soup. Complained about being charged for it and it was removed from the bill. Will not be returning to this establishment.

Don't honor their gift cards when card clearly states "Can be used in Clinton" and was purchased in Clinton! Nope, have to take it to DeWitt. I guess the businesses "split" since Christmas. Well I ate here not there because it was purchased here soooo...I guess I'll use my credit card. Surprise! Extra fees charged for credit card use. Great... we won't be back. We still tipped the server. She was great. It's not her fault the owner would "lose money if I honored this" ...yes, that was his exact words. My jaw hit the floor. I'm beyond shocked and disappointed because the food was good. I just don't feel right supporting a business with that kind of customer service from the owner especially. We just won't be back.
