Platform One Cafe

Just wanted to compliment the lady who works in this branch with short blondish hair. Not sure of her name, she may be a supervisor or manager. She always goes out of her way to be kind, make conversation and just be nice! I often pop in with my pooch Skippy, and on one occasion last week I went in for a take away and he wasn't with me, she asked were he was and I told her he wasn't feeling well and had a cough, so she offered and made me a pup cup to take back home for him!! (Which are his favourite) Later on that day I came back in again,she remembered and asked how he was after making my coffee. Iv often seen her come off her break to help the other team members out if they get busy, she literally never stops. It really makes a difference when a staff member just goes that extra mile, particularly with the customers, it can make so much difference to their day. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves from an area/regional manager. Always makes a spot on coffee aswell :)

If I am totally honest I am not a huge fan of Starbucks coffee in general I find it too bitter for my personal taste. I popped in with a friend for coffee and biscuits. I had an oat milk latte, my friend a flat white. Both were presented beautifully. I love a bit of latte art. The barista was very friendly and my friend who is a regular at this coffee shop said he makes the best coffee. Clearly he performed some coffee wizardry as I quite enjoyed mine for change. The coffeeshop was clean and tidy with plenty of places to sit and enjoy our purchases. There is easy accessibility for wheelchairs and pushchairs and a small outdoor seating area. Free parking is available in the surrounding car parks but I do not recommend parking in McDonalds if you are planning a lengthy stay.

Typical Starbucks. Coffee was nice. Kept me going on my drive home from Holiday. The store was clean and tidy. With a semi one way system in place. (can't be total one way shop isn't large enough) Perspex covers between you and the servers for Covid etc Didn't use the toilets so can't comment on them.
