Rootbound

Incredible and delicious vegan and gluten free options. Out of the five of us, no one had a bad dish or smoothie. The atmosphere was so chill, the service is excellent! It’s not a quick bite to eat, so make time, but it’s such a wonderful environment that you want to stay longer anyway. There’s also a swing. It’s a fantastic swing, and one of the servers brought me my sandwich while I was in the swing. Such a highlight of life.

Great, healthy options! Love the variety that is offered. Something for everyone, even if you're not vegan or vegetarian. Drinks were great. Everything is made fresh to order and was very fresh! Love what they're trying to do with this place and I'm super hopeful they can sustain it long-term, because Main St. can really benefit from this type of option.

We finally made it to Rootbound and tried two juices and two pasta dishes. There are plenty of juice options and the ones we selected were good but not the best juice I've had. Overall, I was disappointed with the price of the food dishes with the portion amounts. I don't think we will go as often as I'd like based on that. Also, please take note of the advertised price vs. the price you are charged. We noticed a discrepancy during ordering that shouldn't have happened.

Love the atmosphere, the menu options, the fact that it's healthy and no preservatives like other restaurants. Great customer service. Only one person was working when I went in, but he was very interactive and pleasant. The smoothies are more of a juice served at room temperature, since they are prepared directly from the ingredients themselves. Again, no powders, fillers, etc. I love how relaxed it feels inside. I could probably sit at one of the tables all day just enjoying the atmosphere. Came here early on a Saturday right when they opened at 9am and only one person was there. The drinks are made to order right from the ingredients so there is a slight delay in how fast your order can be made, but that's the only complaint I had about it. You can tell this place was made with love, attention, and dedication. I would recommend everyone trying it at least once. Cool place to post business cards as well.

The food & beverages are AMAZING!! So fresh and filling! I grew up in Saint Charles and I’m so happy to see a place that is not only vegan but gluten free as well. Even if you aren’t vegan or gluten free you will still love the menu! Give it a try, health is wealth! (: *pictured is the matcha latte, elderberry shot, and black bean burger*

While visiting Missouri I had to find a vegan restaurants to try. We went to Rootbound. I got the Alfredo Con Broccoli and a PB Jammin shake. This shake was JAMMIN!! The Alfredo was a nice size and delicious. They definitely get 5 stars. The atmosphere was beautiful. I loved the notes on the wall. I always enjoy seeing beautiful artwork.

This unique Botique style place is amazing and healthy to say the least. We tried their “On Holiday” smoothie and their “glow juice” - freshly made and they tasted delicious. In terms of meals, we fell in love with Southwest quinoa bowl, chickpea tikka masala, black bean burger. A must try place which has charming and relaxing decor too. The swing inside the store - don’t forget to get some pictures :)

The menu and atmosphere here are amazing! I love the zen chill vibe this place has going on! The owner was so friendly and amazing! Their menu has so many wonderful options and tons of healthy ones! They are all gluten free as well, but still just as tasty! The mac and cheese and tikka masala were my favorites! I also tried the golden milk and a tasty smoothie bowl! Love that they have healthy options!
