By far the best ice cream in Northern California. My wife and I drive 1.5 hours sometimes just to come into Chico for Shuberts. Get the coffee ice-cream. You won’t be disappointed

There’s something incredibly freeing to the feeling of waltzing into a place like this and picking up an ice cream cone.
Personally, I’m ecstatic for their shakes. Whilst I admit I’m not too daring when it comes to trying brand new flavors, all of the ones I have here always compete with becoming my new favorite.
No matter your age, this place makes you feel like a kid. My mood instantly picks up when visiting here for a treat. I associate this place with happiness and you can tell as you wait in line, so do many of the other customers as well.
A mini Willy Wonka factory for ice cream with a twist of the same 1950s innocence that would have a greaser sharing a shake with his date. Want to feel cute or happy? This is the place.

Same authentic homemade ice cream I've been getting for over 50 years. You walk in and are transported to a time when homemade things were what mattered. The aroma of their house made mints and chocolate candies, and the fresh flavor ice creams are the best. Chico mint is only found here

Visiting Chico & I randomly stumbled across this gem, while googling (pink ice cream) as per, a request from my 2yr old. Very friendly staff. Lots of sweet treats to choose from.. we left with more than ice cream! This little shop is definitely worth stopping by a taking peak. We will be returning.

Always the best candy shop experience at the world renown Shuberts. Not just award winning ice cream, but also the best confections of sugary goodnesses in the North State area of california. By far a must experience delight for everyone in the family. Customer service is class-A and even their large cups of ice for about 35 cents is the best ice around!

What a great little shop! Not only was the ice cream delicious, but they had candies like old times. They also had whimsical garden decor and old time kid toys. Very fun!

This is a family owned, they are friendly and nice. They always take great care of their clients as well. They have ice cream and candy's. They have things to take home as well.

Best ice cream in Chico! The store was vintage and had a fun cute candy shop feel - the employees were enthusiastic and helpful and awesome - and the ice cream was tasty! I tried the Chico Mint and it was a fun twist on mint chocolate. Definitely would recommend!
