It was a random walk in and with a pleasant welcome. The aromas were enticing I couldn't help but stay. It was also very clean.
They don't serve alcohol, but it is BYOB. I enjoyed a Kola Champagne with my delicious Puerto Rican cuisine! I recommend a pop in on a rainy day!

Best Puerto Rican food around! Been coming here for over 15 years and it's still delicious! Have been bringing family here too and they love it! They are always super friendly and welcoming! Would recommend everyone to go there!!!

Love the food here. The Jibarito is phenomenal. Make sure to get the rice with it. The service is great as well. We're always greeted with a smile. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. Buen Provecho!!

I have been going to Cafe Central for 20 plus yrs when I lived in Chicago & when I now visit when I visitKeep it up! Chicago. It is one of the first places when I return to Chicago. I feel like it is my second home. I love the atmosphere,the food,the hospitality & everything about it.

Best Puerto Rican restaurant in Chicago ! I love the arroz w gandules 🔥 the best ! & the chicken jibarrito is delicious 😋 staff is very friendly & welcoming . Great customer service & food . I have been coming to this restaurant 5 plus years . 10 stars ⭐️

Puerto Rican soul food @ it’s best. Like your abuela just threw down in the kitchen, pero don’t take my word for it check out the good people & great food @ Cafe Central while listening to some authentic Caribbean beats. Oh and don’t miss out on the dessert (tembleque or the flan are winners). De nada 😉

Delicious Puerto Rican food, just like we were back on the island. Large portions, great flavors, enough to share. Flan was the best I've had in a long time.
