Appellation

Super cute bistro sized restaurant and cheese/wine shop. There is a featured wine flights, but you can create your own flight as well since they offer half-glasses of wine. Phenomenal wine and phenomenal cheese. The server helped me choose cheeses for a cheese flight based on my tastes and it came with a half baguette and some dried fruit and nuts. I was in a group of 8 and tried the Mac & Cheese and the beet salad as well. Everything here tastes amazing. You can't go wrong with anything you order!

The good - food is phenomenal, particularly given the price point. Staff is always super friendly and knowledgable. The not good - service has taken forever every time I've been. Like "30 minutes to get a drink" forever. Granted, these have been during busy periods, but not to the point the restaurant is full. Also, it can get really loud easily, so not ideal if anyone in your party is hard of hearing. That being said, will I go back? Definitely.

What a disappointment. The online menu looked amazing so five of us headed there for a Sunday brunch. Our food was slow to arrive and when it did it was all different temperatures. Mine was literally cold to the touch except the room temp egg on top, my mimosa was also room temp. My husband's meal was lava hot. Etc. One person in our party had specifically asked our waitress for the ingredients in her meal (the veggie hash) to make sure she didn't receive a meal with extra stuff not listed in the menu since she has a few food allergies, when it was brought to the table half of it was the exact veggie that would make her sick. She politely explained to the waitress that's why she had asked for the ingredients and the waitress said "Oh well the kitchen is backed up now AP you'll have to wait a while for them to make you anything else." Then she started to walk away. How about no? I had to speak up, "We didn't mess up, so can you please bump her meal up the queue?" They then charged her anyway. I'm not out looking to screw any establishments ot of a profit but considering they almost landed my friend in the hospital a comped meal would have been kind. Overall, it wasn't worth the money or the drive to get there, we won't be back.
