Excellent place to hang out with friends in a relatively quiet atmosphere while drinking some of the best craft beers around.

We had an event here where we were able to rent out a portion of the bar for a get together with about 25 friends. All it required was a small deposit, and it went great. The staff was very accommodating and helped everything go smoothly. We were able to bring in our own food for our guests. I’d definitely recommend hosting an event at Beermiscuous!

Insanely huge beer selection with a genius concept. You walk in to immediately see drink coolers full of hundreds of options for you to browse and shop similar to a convenience store setup. You pay at the cash register, where you’re able to order draft beers as well. Then you can choose a spot and hangout, including play board games, or leave quickly if you’re in a hurry.

Very relaxed atmosphere and awesome drink selection. They have boardgames to play as you hang out. They also sell snack food (mostly chips) but allow in outside food too!

Tons of board games you can play with friends / a date. It was pretty loud with 6 or so baseball fans talking to the left of us Saturday night but other nights I hear it is cozier and less loud.
Incredibly vast beer selection (5+ fridges). They have a modest selection of setzers, too (fridge).

This is my absolute favorite business in all of Chicago, no exaggeration. I’ve been coming here since it opened in 2014. It’s one of the only places of its kind that I’ve ever been to - a quiet cafe that serves excellent beer. The selection, both bottles and taps, is very well curated. They collaborated with Bold Dog for their anniversary to make one of my favorite beers ever in an unusual style, Kentucky Common. The space is also quite kid friendly especially during the daytime. I love Beermiscuous!

16 beers on tap. 275 beers in cans and bottles (on display in their coolers). Customers must wear masks when ordering from the bar. Ambience is okay but rather basic, except for the cozy chairs next to their fireplace.

Ok, ok. I’ll make the pilgrimage to this place. I’m doing this on your behalf, good reader. No, no need to thank me. I just , you know, care. So, um , yeah. Kind of subtlety crazy fun this joint. Always new things to try. Spoiler alert: The new things are beer. Always always always crazy fresh I must add. So, comfy the couches are. People seem intellectual ish and I’m not sure why. We like it.

One of the true benchmarks of a true bottle shop in Chicago! Huge selection of local and regional craft beer meets knowledgable and very friendly staff. They even have their own app and you can order for pick up, maybe even delivery, online!
Usually plenty of room to hang out inside with a nice lounge/chill area complete with free to play board games. A true craft beer nerd spot!

Super friendly and helpful staff, nice selection of craft beer in refrigerators, decent to go prices. I stopped in and grabbed a couple 4 packs of singles and the gentleman was super helpful with suggestions and recommendations. You can enjoy a beer here too although I think their limit was 5 people in the store when I stopped by.
