Potbelly Sandwich Shop

First time at Potbelly, and I was blown away! Great service, soft and crispy toasted bread, and excellent texture and toppings. I can see why this chain is a Chicago favorite. I ordered an original vegetarian Mediterranean with pickles, onions, tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. A great combo- highly recommend.

Crumbs on table situation with overflowing trash. 1-star less. Like most fast food chains, cleanliness is an issue pre and after pandemic. CHICKEN POT PIE SOUP — I appreciate the cashier's thoughtfulness that order is 5 min delayed due to Cooking Crust. However, the crust did taste uncooked doughy/flour-ish. 😐 Still finished it with light suffering. As always with all Potbelly locations, you always double check your order with multiple items as something is always missing even though noted on app. Reading is optional these days. I ❤️ this location as it's inside the historically beautiful ROOKERY (also, the location name on app). Kinda secluded and special.

Due to COVID, breakfast options were limited around the loop. Potbelly had temporary hours and didn't open until 9. I was getting a late start so it worked. I had a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich and a coffee. The coffee was fresh. The sandwich was good and hot. Hearty portions for breakfast. They were keeping the dining area very clean. The spacing was comfortable.

The feel of the restaurant is nice and warm, you feel comfortable sitting in while you eat. The sandwiches on the menu are delicious and no two are alike. You can also add other toppings on your sandwich then what it already comes with. The variety of soups is pretty good too. The service was fast and the workers were very nice. 4/5 stars would visit again

If you’re looking for an alternative for all the unhealthy food downtown this is definitely a great choice. Way different feel then subway and your other sandwich choices. Don’t get me wrong they have things on their menu that will add to your calories, but they definitely have a multitude of healthier choices for the average consumer.
