Argo Tea

Great location, nice menu of teas, customer service meh... Ordering was just fine, but I was there for an hour and was told by Monty they would be closing in 15 min (4:45pm), then reminded again at 4:57pm and at 4:59pm, Monty came once again very abruptly, this time with a slight attitude, stood by my table and said "We Are Closed". I said, yes, I realize as you warned me just 2 minutes ago... his reply, "you need to leave as I am going to count the register". I said "Yes, I am packing up now, but you should consider working on your 'being nicer" skills". He didn't like this as he made a gesture with his hands shoo-ing me away lol. Was not a tasteful way to end my time at Argo Tea, maybe he was having a bad day.. in any case, all is good with the world. I enjoyed my chamomile tea and will be back for another. Hopefully Monty will be in a more patient mood (:

This location is smaller than most and doesn't lend itself as well to relaxing from the hustle and bustle even though it isn't as noisy as some other locations. No complaints about the drinks, food, or staff here; they are all up to standard and competent. There isn't a bathroom at this shop since it's on the corner of The Marquette but there are plenty of bathroom options around.
