Vienna Beef

Ordered up some Vienna dogs from Chiraq. Had them Airmailed to the Mexican Border. Harlingen Tx. Package arrived still semi cold and within 9 hours of departing Chiraq.. Without bullet holes, Bonus!! Ive been to Chicago, I'd much rather order from Texas.. During this virus scam and democratic attempted overthrow of the current administration and your stellar communist mayoral accomplishments, ???? it's the least Texas can do to help your economy.. Will order again. Really excellent product, tastes like the real deal cause it is.. Best of Luck.. Plotted. Scouts out!!!

This place is supposed to be moving later this year and I'll miss it. It probably isn't the best hot dog you'll find in the city, or the best deli. But everything they have is pretty good and this place was a somewhat hidden gem for years. Easy to get to, never super busy, good food, somewhat kitschy digs. That's a winning combination.

What an odd little hidden gem. This location is a mix of factory, deli, restaurant, merch store, and museum. There's a deli counter that sells all their sausages (including the ones they sell at Wrigley), meat sticks, lunch meat, and tamales, plus all the stuff you need to go with it like condiments and pickles and buns. They also have bulk freezers, in case you need a 5 gallon bucket of roast beef. There's a little display with tourist-y type merchandise like posters, t-shirts, and golf club covers. There's a history museum part somewhere, but we didn't check it out. Then there's a food counter which serves up all the sausages and sandwiches. It's a bit unorganized, as there's no signs telling you where to order. This results in the cashier yelling at you and pointing vaguely until you finally find the right person. Most unpleasant. But the hot dogs, dragged through the garden of course, were most pleasant.

It's always pleasant to come here for lunch. They always have a daily special, aside from the regular special of two Chicago hot dogs, fries, and a drink for $6.99. The people who work here make the whole process seamless and they know what they're doing. There are tables inside and outside. You can also buy their meat products to go. Love it!

I've been to Chicago many times and can't believe I didn't try this place until now! Not only is it a great place to try a true "Chicago Dog" or "Polish Sausage" but it is also a deli that offer sandwiches such as corned beef and pastrami. They also have refrigerated packages of the dogs, sausages, emerald green relish etc. for sale. The location has a spacious area with tables when enjoying your meal onsite. I have also noticed during my Chicago travels that Vienna Beef supplies many many of other establishments with their quality dogs and sausages.
