Pork & Mindy’s

I taught Jeff’s son in preschool- he and his wife are wonderful people. My daughter, grandson and I had a fabulous lunch at the Mariano’s in Elmhurst location. Rick was the gentleman who took care of us and couldn’t have been nicer. I know we will be back for more meals in the near future! Food was outstanding!

My wife and I stopped in for dinner last Thursday after checking into the hotel across the way. Staff was friendly and helped us with the questions we had. This was our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was great! I also wanted to note that this restaurant was exceptionally clean. My wife even noted someone in the back of the kitchen scrubbing the floor. Definitely a great place to stop in.

Make sure you're ready to indulge! Was bummed I had to pass on the tots. Did enjoy the signature Bao sandwich and pig candy. Go for the sweet spicy version, very mild...L.O.V.E.D. Gent behind the counter was very friendly, helpful, and patient with me since my first time. Look forward to buying Pig Candy online!!

We ordered catering a few months ago from Pork & Mindy's and wow, I am still thinking about it! We tried the Vinegar, Apricot Habanero, and Chicago Smokehouse sauces with a a pan of Smoked Chicken and Mini Brioche Buns and everyone was raving about how good it was. Each of the sauces were unique and delightfully different from the next and I can't wait for the next time we order from this restaurant!
