Luxbar

We really enjoyed our brunch at Luxbar. It’s easy to make a rsvp online and we were seated immediately. The staff was very friendly and helpful! While the atmosphere is great, the seating space is a bit cramped. It’s sometimes difficult to navigate between the tables and with fall and winter, diners putting on or taking off winter coats can be difficult. Brunch menu had a good variety. The breakfast burrito was massive! The length of my forearm! The Benedict and omelet were delicious too. A lot of good classic items on the brunch menu, but I do wish they had more fun specialty brunch items!

It’s popular place. It was super busy even you made a reservation but still have to wait for the table. very crowded. Love the menu is much variety for brunch and hard to pick your dish lol our server is great. Surprised that she can provided a great service while the restaurant was super busy. Food is ok for me. I ordered buttermilk fried chicken. it comes like half whole chicken part ( but cut up portion) overall is good.

We had an absolutely amazing experience today for our first stop in town! Brett the bartender offered the best recommendations for food as well as made the perfect espresso martini! We loved the filet sliders, seared tuna, simple salad with chicken, and pretzel with cheese! We will definitely be back!

We were staying at the Ritz Carlton nearby and happened upon this restaurant on a mild summer evening. The wait was over an hour so we made a reservation for our last night in Chicago. We were seated right away on the patio and a manager immediately brought us water and welcomed us and gave us his card. Our server, Danny, was wonderful. The food is very reasonably priced - so much so that we asked if the steak frites were indeed $20?? It’s a great value and my husband enjoyed it. I had a salad with a filet which was quite tiny. The chocolate cake and cocktails were the best part of the meal. Overall I recommend if you can get a table outside on a nice evening. The inside bar area is quite loud.

A super lively spot with a variety of fantastic drinks and food. I’d highly recommend reservations! Although busy, the space itself is really quite large, even extending upstairs onto another floor. The food was amazing—upscale comfort food. It was impressive from stepping into the door to leaving. Our waiter was kind and attentive (and also helpful when we couldn’t make a good decision!). And the separate Build Your Own Manhattan menu was actually very fun and had a variety of options to let you create your perfect cocktail.
