Roy Rogers

I will start with this, I only chose it because all of the other restaurants at the rest stop were closed at 8pm. I don't normally expect much from Roy Rodgers and typically avoid it but today was literally the worst fast food experience I've ever had. Not only did the woman taking orders refuse to make anything and told me no when I asked for something on the menu because it wasn't pre-made, the food was also luke-warm and gross. Then I get to the register and the guy working it punched in my order. $48 dollars for 4 chicken tenders, two pre-made sandwiches, and 3 orders of fries with two medium fountain drinks. I could have gone to a sit down restaurant for $50 bucks. I asked the guy why it was so expensive and he just listed the ridiculous prices. I honestly felt bad for the guy because the next woman in line was as shocked as I was about her prices. Stop sooner, stop after but avoid this rest stop at all costs.

You don't even need the turnpike to get in there if you live locally. There's a back entrance of Kresson Road in Cherry Hill that you can access. Done it 2x, apparently it's for turnpike employees, but whatever. If not, there's always the Frank Farley one on the Atlantic City Expressway. (Update: the Farley one closed)
