The Chestnut Tree

Very grateful for the warm staff whom assisted me during the snow storm by having a room very clean and comfortable before the normal check in time. With a very short staff, due to the weather, I would have expected a few delays but not at this hotel. There staff showed no signs of the weather possibly affecting their ability to make my stay wonderful.

Our reservation for 3 nights was a delight. Front Desk Clerk, George, was accommodating. Our room with king bed was comfy. We had all the room essentials at our disposal. The cleaning crew work long hours and were very helpful and a delight to talk to. We are all hoping to get back to normal during this Covid crisis. We will definitely be back! The leaves were not yet at their peak. So you peepers--hang on for a few more weeks!

Nice older hotel, here are the pros: They have a small park which is great for the kids, very friendly staff, our room was clean, we had a flat screen TV, close to the town, and there is a pool-not open yet but it's there. Cons: the bed is terribly small not a regular queen size more of a full and thin. The outside noise is heard inside so at 7 am I overheard 2 gentle men talking about driving 6 hours versus 5. And the carts that people use are really loud! Overall a good hotel though and I would use again because of the price.

They have the softest queen size bed I have ever slept in.im in room 150, the breakfast buffet is free to guests, and it's off the chain good, just a couple of miles away from the casino. This room is only 53.00 in February, love it here will be back, Update 2/21/2020 the maintenance supervisor Mr.John has fixed the only problem with the toilet, I had breakfast this morning before leaving, the buffet was great and the food was good and hot. The staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was happy.

We have stayed here several times and we love it! It is an older place but I think that's part of it's charm. The staff are all very friendly. The breakfast buffet is awesome. The rooms are always clean. The locals views are amazing. Very close to a lot of shopping and Harrah's casino. The only thing I didn't care for was the locked doors at night. I understand that is for safety but we were freezing standing there several minutes before someone came to the door.

The staff is absolutely amazing. Both the front desk when we checked in and when we checked out gave us great information on places to go that wasn't just the casino. They were very friendly. The rooms were clean, though the walls were a bit thin. The view in the morning when we went down to complementary breakfast, also good with a decent amount of choices on a small buffet, were gorgeous with the fog over the mountains. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Cherokee I recommend you look into the Chestnut Tree Inn.

This is a quite clean place. The pics speak for themselves. I came early and I had been in town for a few days so it was nice that they have a laundry. The views are spectacular so coffee outside in the morning is a must. But you gotta have the free FULL breakfast. That is amazing to actually get a real breakfast on property and FREE!!! They have a nice pool in a great spot with great sunlight. They have a play ground and just some beautiful places on the property with fountains and such. The grass and grounds are gorgeous. The registration office has areas where you can sit at the fire or sit in the sun room. There is what I would call a convention center and it's great. Beautiful art and pictures through the halls, that will help you appreciate where you are. If you are going to be in Cherokee NC, this is a must stay!

My husband and I chose this because of the listed proximity to the casino however it was not as close as we'd liked. There was a huge spider waiting to greet us in the room as well. Other than that, the room was clean, extra towels as requested, staff were friendly and the breakfast was great as well. Thanks for a great weekend.
