Pera Palace

To me this is easily the best restaurant in Chatteris and it's also definitely worth a shot if you live in the vicinity of Chatteris. The food is amazing, especially for the price and the staff is always friendly. The atmosphere is fine and the restaurant is in good condition, but if anything it might be a bit too "spacious" it doesn't really give you a cozy feeling. Nonetheless, I'd definitely recommend trying this place!

You don't leave this wonderful place hungry. It used to be the Palace Ballroom back in the day, the proud possessor of the country's very first sprung dance floor. That was after it was a cinema, built in 1910. The room still resonates with character and it's a happy place to eat. Great menu. Great times for the entire family.

I’m delighted to have found this place! I went with family, we tried a variety of dishes which were all absolutely delicious. The staff was very friendly and polite. The place was very clean and it’s also very affordable to go for the lunch menu. There was nothing we could fault this restaurant with. I’ll definitely recommend this place to our friends.

Little hidden gem, recommended by a friend and food couldn’t have been more amazing if they tried. Perhaps the best food I’ve ever ordered. Staff couldn’t do enough to help us - constantly polite and happy and ready to help. I will 100% come again. Simply fantastic food and drinks galore, lol. Desert was just as good to. We had some free Coffees too. Brilliant atmosphere. Thank you for a great evening.

We went there on Sunday for the first time and was wowed by the fantastic welcome from the owner of the restaurant as soon as we walked in. I have had turkish food from many restaurants in London but i must say this restaurant is definitely the winner. The decor was beautiful, food was amazing and very good portion. Service was excellent! I would definitely be returning and would happily recommend them. Thank you.

Excellent food. I can't overstate how tasty the food is here. I travel a lot for work so have to find the right combination of value for money and good quality food and Pera Palace delivers on both. Honestly in the top 10 of the best places to eat that I've found. Tasty grilled meat with very nice sides. The staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing and the setting is bright, relaxed and easy-going. Definitely recommended. On my visits here there have been plenty of families and couples as well as myself so all seem to be welcome. Pictured is the Beyta mixed kebab.

I came here for the first time with family the other evening as they had been boasting about it to me for ages & I have to say I was not disappointed! The service was was on top, the food was amazing and such big portions too. A very friendly, sophisticated and romantic atmosphere.. would highly recommend to go and visit and give the food ago!
