Downtown Dough

Downtown Dough is an unexpected vegan treat. Of course they have lots of flavors and combinations, but being able to come in and grab a vegan slice of chocolate chip cookie dough with two scoops of vegan chocolate chip ice cream is a real treat. Service is courteous and friendly. The dining area is spotless, and they offer outdoor seating.

I loved this place!! We stopped by after the aquarium and we’re not disappointed. We had 2 scoops and a slab of cookie dough and every single bite was delicious. I had done some research before we went and I had seen some past flavors. I knew it being winter/spring there was no chance pumpkin was going to be on the menu but the sweet owner told me if I came back in the morning she would make me the specific flavor I was dreaming of. Definitely came back the next day for pumpkin cheese cake and oh my goodness 150% worth it! You don’t get amazing service like that any more and I was so thankful.

What a great place!! You really need to try it out. I loved the chocolate chip. I got a slice of chocolate chip cookie dough and 2 scoops of ice cream the first day. I liked it so much, we came back the next day and I got a whole loaf of chocolate chip! Plus, some various flavors for our kids back home. Liked it enough to get two T shirts! Downtown dough also has keto cookie dough if you are into that. The owner is so nice, she opened the store early for us to get stuff on our way out of town. She said she would send me some dough during my deployment. Gave a military discount, and was just a really nice person.

The most delicious cookie dough with the KINDEST owner and service. I LOVE that it’s woman owned! Such an amazing little spot in the best location. View of the water, plenty of places to park, great options and hand made, in-house craft cookie dough! Such an awesome find! Gluten free, vegan keto options!
