The artwork all over is amazing. My husband asked the server for something coconut and sweet. Whatever he made him he had to get another one. We came mid afternoon after checking out the downtown area, kids were seated with us so we got a couple of cheesecakes to take back to our room. The had a live blues singer playing songs on his guitar and singing the room into a groove like no other.

Hotel lobby ambience but very good food and service. Nice vibe with live music and plenty of activity. The red beet and goat cheese appetizer was delish. I particularly enjoyed my short rib and cauliflower mash entree. Prices are fair and this is a good place to go if you want to stay on west side of Chattanooga for dinner and drinks on top floor of Westin at Alchemy.

Beautifully relaxing upscale atmosphere, inside and out; accommodating, cheerful staff. But, you'll wait all night for your food. Almost 1 hour for pretzels and beer cheese with only a few other clients around. When you realize that the dinner order was put in at the same time as the appetizer, dinner also took nearly an hour. It was good; chicken saltimbocca, but the chef omitted the prosciutto. Manager offered a tiramisu, which was fantastic, including the temperature.

Awful service. We sat ourselves after 5 minutes of standing and waiting. After sitting and waiting for another 5 had to ask the bartender about a server. Server still didn't come for 5 more minutes. Got our drink orders then after a few minutes finally got our food orders and forgetting to take the order of three people in our party!?! I asked for something to be changed on my salad if it couldn't be changed, then a chicken sandwich. And of course salad came as normal, not how I requested. Three people in our party were smart enough to cancel their order after this fiasco. I should have but felt too guilty.... mind you this was with 3 servers and a bartender and maybe 3 people in the restaurant. This was ridiculous and a waste of $30..... only reason I gave 2 stars was the kitchen staff pulled through and made a delicious salmon!
