Their iced vanilla latte was amazing! Their syrups are also made in-house. Also try the Autumn Sweater if you’re in the mood for a seasonal drink. The drinks are also not too sweet which was refreshing because most places are way too sweet in my opinion. Price is standard for a coffee shop. Paid $13.80 for two lattes.

Coffee and food was absolutely delicious! I got an iced sea salt mocha. I also tried some coffee cake, a parfait, and a sausage breakfast sandwich. All of it was fantastic! Service was OK. They didn't repeat our order and we couldn't see a screen with the order on it so it wasn't until after we got all our other food that we realized they didn't hear us order the overnight oats. The outdoor seating was lovely! The cushioned chairs indoors were kinda dirty. Crumbs and stuff on them that the employees just didn't have time to clean between people.

Under Current is a really nice spot, the staff is phenomenal, the vibe and decor is awesome and the prices are reasonable and best of all everything is made from scratch!! I had the pleasure of stumbling upon this coffee shop in charlotte. I was very happy because I was totally pleased with the professionalism and service attitude of the staff. Most importantly the coffee is the best I have ever had in North Carolina and several other places around this country. If you are in that area, this should be the place you go to. You will not regret it.

Nice coffee, courteous service, nice atmosphere. First, the coffee quality is good and the baristas make it better. I tried the cold brew, a coffee never exposed to heat but time, to extract the coffee's oils, sugars, and caffeine. It was good and refreshing, perfect for these hot days. The place is excellent, a pleasant atmosphere to work, think or just relax with the company of friends or just a tasty cup of coffee. The baristas tried to explain what you were going to drink. Overall, a good experience. I want to try more coffees.

Popped in for our after dinner coffees while in the Plaza Midwood area. What a neat place. My husband and son have been here. This was my first time. Really friendly barista’s. I suggest having dinner at Supperland or Calle Sol & then walking it off by heading to Undercurrent Coffee. Kick back & spend some time in this very inspiring coffee shop. Lots of laptops were open. People busy doing their thing. Maybe you’ll be the next great playwright. Stop by and enjoy the cool vibes of this place.
