The Packhouse

Went there 2 days after they opened (summer 2017) for lunch. The menu had lots of good selections. I have a very limited selection (CA in gut) of what I can eat & I had a chicken sandwich that was delicious. The wait staff was very pleasant & helpful. Atmosphere was very southern comfort. A wonderful experience. I would recommend it to anyone

We went here for a team lunch today and everyone really enjoyed it. We had a large group and we're seated right away. There were a lot of good looking things on the menu. Due to diet restrictions, I got the Packhouse Burger with no bun. My only issue was that I got the burger cooked medium rare and it came out medium well. I'm was still delicious though so I can only imagine how much better it would have been if it were cooked right. The toppings were really good. The pimento cheese was sweet which was a little weird. I got green beans as my side which were pretty good. I was able to sample someone else's chicken tenders which were really good and I heard the casserole of the day was very good as well. The service wasn't great. I couldn't get a refill of water and it took a long time for us to get our checks and pay. The decor is very rustic and southern inspired with a lot of wood. They have a lot of beautiful and unique elements. The food was really good and I would definitely come back again! I'd be interested in trying their brunch.

What a great venue!!? This place is cozy and homely with a unique vibe and a deep south feel. The rustic theme is represented cleverly throughout the restaurant in a variety of ways. The food is great, and the desert is no exception! Everything they claim is evident in the service and selection... I had the "casserole of the day" which was a thoughtful spin on chicken and rice with a hint of ranch flavor.
