Second State Coffee

Great little coffee shop downtown. Small and upscale reminded of a couple spots I like in NYC. The espresso was good and pictured is the hot chocolate nice and chocolatey. A quiet spot a few blocks before you get into all the hustle and bustle action of downtown. Great for getting some work done or meeting a fiend in a quiet place.

So I have traveled a lot and I've tried many coffee shops lattes in my time. One of my pet peeves about a latte is when whoever is making the latte overheats the milk and makes it way too hot 🔥 A proper latte should have a nice frothy foamy top and not too hot it should be just perfect to drink and second state makes it perfect every time. I also love that it's a neighborhood coffee shop and they remember all the locals and all the regulars. Overall great experience great place I go there just about every day highly recommend

The coffee here is excellent, they actually serve two different types of espresso which is pretty rare but much appreciated, and yes they're very good. Broom Wagon also has a decent sized menu with waffles and toast so you can get an actual meal here too. The atmosphere inside is really nice and they have shaded outdoor seating as well. The baristas are also very friendly and and efficient at what they do.

A clean, simple and methodical space. Great vibes. Delicious coffee the food looked and smelled delicious (didn't get anything) the staff and baristas are super knowledgeable about their coffees well also being very down-to-earth and approachable. Friendly and welcoming. Definitely a great place to get quality specialty coffee! Plenty of seating inside and a few table outside too.
